"I don't sing because I'm happy; I'm happy because I sing"

September 16 – October 16, 2010
Sierra opens a brand new show with Marquee Five entitled “8-Track Throwback.” This features songs by singer-songwriters of the 60s and 70s, including Carole King, Leonard Cohen, Stevie Wonder, and Dolly Parton. The group received stellar reviews, including mention of Sierra’s rendition of Janis Joplin’s “Move Over”:

“When I say Janis Joplin, I’m sure the first person that comes to mind is Sierra Rein, right? Here’s this beautiful, classy looking woman rasping out to Joplin’s Move Over in a jaw dropping performance that made me look at Sierra in a whole new light. The audience went wild for this number.” – Sue Matsuki, CabaretHotlineOnline.com
